What do you want to look after?
Each camera can have its own mode. Pick one to see what it does.
Watches while you're out
- Arms and disarms itself with the family's phones: no new apps and no buttons to forget.
- Zones you draw with your finger: the garden and the door, yes; the street and the swaying tree, no.
- Tampering: if someone covers, turns or blurs a camera, it alerts you with the before and after photos.
- Siren on the camera, if it has one, in the zones you choose or from Telegram.

The house that's far away
- Always watching and every alert arrives as urgent, with sound.
- Always records the last 14 days, so you can see what happened even if no alert went off.
- If the power or internet goes down, our external watchdog messages you within minutes, and again when it's back.
- Weekly summary in PDF: alerts, hours watched and any outages.

They sleep; so do you
- Woken up: alerts you when they start moving in the cot after a quiet spell.
- Cot rail: alerts as soon as they peek over or try to climb.
- Door: if you like, it alerts you when someone enters the room.
- The siren never sounds in this mode.
It helps you keep watch, but it is not a medical device: it doesn't monitor breathing or replace adult supervision.

What they do when you're out
- Forbidden zones: the sofa, the worktop or the bin. You get the photo if they climb up.
- Escapes: a line across the door or the garden fence.
- Their day, every morning: how active they were and how many times they went to the bowl, the water and their bed.
- Security carries on: if a person comes in while armed, it alerts you as usual.

Close by, even if you live far away
- Falls: if they were standing and are suddenly on the floor, it alerts you at once with the photo.
- Distress signal: raising both arms for 3 seconds in front of the camera sends an urgent alert.
- If something isn't normal: they don't come home, there's no movement during the day or they haven't got up by a set time.
- Their day, every morning: first and last activity, time moving about and visits to the kitchen.
It works even when Cobax is disarmed. Always with their knowledge and consent. It doesn't replace telecare or emergency services: the AI may miss a fall off camera or in the dark.

It arms itself when you all leave
Cobax sees which family phones are connected to the home wifi. When the last one leaves, it arms; when one comes back, it disarms. No apps and nothing to remember.
Try it: tap the phones to take them out of or back into the house.

Cobax finds the cameras on your network by itself. You choose each one, give it a name and you're done.

You create your own Telegram bot in a minute, with a guide that walks you through it step by step.
The zones
You draw with your finger where to watch and what to ignore. A test alert and it's watching.
The app speaks Spanish, English, French, Portuguese, German, Italian and Catalan, and its guides can be read aloud.
What happens at home stays at home
Images are analysed on the device, not in a cloud. Only the alerts sent to your Telegram leave the house, and we don't see your cameras.
- No cloud and no storage fees. Photos and videos are kept on your device and deleted automatically.
- Private zones. Cover the neighbour's window or the street: they're not shown, not recorded and the AI doesn't look at them.
- Protected with a PIN, also from outside the house, with a secure address that installs on your phone like an app.
- You decide which camera watches, when, and what is kept.
Clear from the start
We'd rather you know what Cobax does and doesn't do before installing it.
- It isn't an alarm connected to a monitoring centre.Cobax alerts you, on your phone. It doesn't call the police or a monitoring centre, and it doesn't replace a certified alarm if you need one.
- Artificial intelligence can get it wrong.Very far away, in the dark without infrared or with the camera covered, it may miss someone, and now and then it will alert you unnecessarily. Zones and settings help fine-tune it.
- It needs power and internet to alert you.Without power it doesn't watch, and without internet alerts wait until it's back. If the device stops sending signals, we alert you from outside.
- The Baby and Care modes help, but they are not medical devices.They don't monitor breathing or replace adult supervision, telecare or emergency services.
- It works with IP cameras.It needs cameras with RTSP access or a USB webcam. Many cameras that only work through the manufacturer's cloud won't do: we'll confirm first.
- It's in development.Cobax already runs in trial installations and improves with every version. What you see here is what it does today.
Frequently asked questions
Will the cameras I already have work?
If they're IP cameras with RTSP access, like many from Tapo, Reolink, Hikvision or Dahua, they most likely will. Tell us the model and we'll confirm before you buy anything.
Do I have to pay a subscription?
No cloud or storage fee needed: everything is kept on your device. We give you a fixed price once we know how many cameras you want.
Does it need internet?
To watch and record, no: everything happens at home. Internet is used to send you alerts, view it from outside and receive updates.
Why Telegram?
It's free, arrives instantly with photo and video, and the bot is yours: only you control it. From it you can also arm, disarm or sound the siren.
Does it work at night?
Yes, with cameras that have infrared night vision. The AI works with the image the camera provides: the better it is, the more reliable it is.
What if I have a holiday rental?
Never cameras inside the property while guests are staying. Outside, yes, stating it in the listing and with the CCTV sign, which Cobax prepares for you.
